Fay’s rest of the day didn’t go all that fast. After her History class, she was having Potions. This time, she stayed awake the whole time, making Snape rather suspicious over her since she would always claim that her ways of studying were different and required sleeping. Not to add that anyways, she was too busy writing the music of a song that Fred Weasley inspired her. She would have to show him some days. The rest of the day went smoothly, she took a good tummy filling diner and then made her way to her history detention.
Surprisingly enough...okay, not so surprisingly, she arrived in the classroom before Fred did. Binns saw her and gestured her to take a seat, which she did, the closest to the door that the teacher allowed. He told her to get some parchments out along with an ink and a scribbling tool. She obeyed and then they waited for the arrival of the troublemaker. Binns told her that they would leave the room, only when they’ll done copying the entire chapter they had to read today. d**n THAT WAS A LOT... Better get going. She sighed and began scribbling, although, her scribbling turned out into the lyrics of the song that mister Weasley inspired her. She thought of a good title also; Can’t Get Me Down. Yup...would fit him. She hummed the melody to herself as silently as she could in hope that the teacher wouldn’t mind her as she continued her...supposed to do scribbles.

Fred arrived at the very last minute, as always. Fay was already in there but when Fred was to sit close to her, Binns sent him to the other side of the room completely. He was then told the object of the detention and sighed more heavily he ever did in his life. That chapter had almsot twenty pages of text! He couldn't do that, he'd die before ever finishing it. Fred could just see it, written on his grave: detention killed him.
Fred decided he wouldn't talk, it was too dangerous, but it didn't mean he wouldn't mess around with Fay. He ripped a piece of parchment and wrote 'any good idea to have fun in another detention?' , made a bullet out of his paper and threw it at Fay... hitting her head. He didn't mean it to touch her head but it did. At least she wouldn't miss it.

Fay almost didn’t notice Fred’s entrance only because she was concentrated on that one song that suddenly popped into her head. However, when Binns told him to go sit farther way in the classroom, she quickly returned to her copying that would take oh so long. She sighed. If only the teacher wasn’t around, she could use that handy spell making her quill writing things down by itself.
She placed her paper, hiding it from Binn’s view and continued copying it until a uncommon flying object hit her head. She blinked. Woah, what was that? Coming from behind she assumed it was from no one but mister Weasley behind her. She smirked and bent down grabbing the piece of rolled paper trying to be as discrete as possible she opened it to read it. That was a good question; this time it would be harder since Binns was sitting and actually watching what they were doing unlike Filch was. Though, watching was a big word there since he seemed busy reading his stuff. She grinned and grabbed her wand, casting the silent spell so her quill would continue to do the work. She grabbed another one in her bag to write back to Fred. ‘I have to think of it, the teacher is brighter than Filch…we have to stay on our guards’ At this, she rolled the paper and tossed him from behind and chuckled while faking her work.

When he received Fay's message he was a bit sad she didn't find a good idea but she had a point, Binns was harder than Filch. Filch was naturally pissed off while Binns had all his time, he was dead anyway. Suddenly, an idea popped into Fred's head. Fred quickly, yet as silently as possible, ripped off a few pages of his book. He then raised his hand and cleared his throat, trying to catch the professor's attention. Binns finally raised his gaze toward the red head. "Excuse me professor, but I'm afraid someone ripped pages of my book, " he explained. Binns came to see. The ghost sighed and said to them to remain in their seat and continue their detention IN SILENCE as he left to get the boy another book. He was not gonna let him slip away this easily. As soon as the professor left through the wall, Fred went to Fay. "Tell me you have a way to fasten the detention," he enarly begged her as he was tortured by it already.

Fay felt bad that she didn’t have any fantastic idea to lighten up the detention she was having together with him. It was true though that Binns would be a harder person to annoy, taunt or get to leave the room. She tried to think of anything, but frankly, only lyrics for her song would pop out. So she kept on scribbling them with another quill while one was busy doing her copy. She glanced at Fred as he lifted his hand. Oh~ speaking time? She made sure to fake writing while the teacher was there-he must not find her little trick! She grinned as he left and giggled at his question.
Oh right! Her song, she hid the page making sure he wouldn’t see, it was going to be a surprise after all~! She liked surprising people! It was fun. “Of course I do” She released her quill that was writing down the chapter asked and smirked. “The most handy spell you could ever have~” She mused with a chuckle finding it funny how he seemed close to begging.

Fred watched as he saw the quill writing all alone by itself. He knew of some quills that could write down whatever you were saying but didn't know you could make one write down something out from a book. A quill didn't have eyes after all so how was it doing it, was Fay reading it in her head and the quill reproduced every word? If anyone could find a way of doing this, it surely was Fay Swane.
Fred moved a chair closer to her as he sat on it. He never minded proximity, especially when he was on the flirtatious mdoe. And Fay sure made him turn into it. It was her quirky smile, and the devilish spark in her eyes. She was some sort of black-haired Weasley twins in her imagination. Fred wanted her to open her imagination to him, he was certain he'd find some interesting new ideas for pranks. "Oy, you got to hear this. George and I, we found the perfect way to annoy Umbridge big time." he said with a smirk. His eyes were still looking every now and then at the door, in case Binns was to come back. Fred had no idea if the professor went to the library or if he had books in his office and if so, where the hell was his office!? So he remaiend on guard. Detention was boring enough, didn't want to add another chapter to it.

Fay simply smiled as she watched Fred who seemed to be amazed by the working quill. Yup, if you needed the most uncommon but handy spells, Fay would know them. Anything that would help her out if she ever needed to sleep in class, those would let her not miss any note she’d have to do.
The Weasley twin soon brought his chair so he was sitting next to her and she tilted her head as he mentioned that he had something for Umbridge. “Oh? What would it be? I have to admit that it’s sort of easy to get on her nerves but fun too~” She paused. “I think she dislikes my look as well.” She mused with a small laugh. “I might have a little something too but this is going to be a surprise though~” She added with a wild grin. She said this only because she knew it would get his curiosity to work until the day she would manage to do it.

Fred looked at Fay as she said Umbridge didn't like her look. Fred could totally see why but in the same time, he didn't mind about it. His look was about the only thing he wasn't eccentric about but then again, when you have very little money, you don't waste it on clothes. Fred knew his family probably was the poorest, or at least among the poorest, families here at Hogwarts. He usually didn't mind that either. They had something else, something special, that united all of its members better than any amount of money.
He grinned back at her as she said she ahd a surprse for Umbridge as well. Now he was curious but he could tell by her facial expressions she was not gfonan tell him a thing. "I'll be waiting to see that." he said with mischief reading all over his face. "As for George and I, all I can tell you is, don't cast a spell on our joke... well unless you want it to get even funnier." he added looking more devilish than ever. He never plotted mayhem with someone else than hsi other self, well except for Lee, and he found it very interesting.

Fay’s smile turned soon into a grin. Perfect! She was eager to see what they had come out with. Umbridge was in her black list at the point being. The lady didn’t help her sleep, and she specially didn’t like the comment she once did on her. “Sleeping or not, you’re not learning anything in this class…” She told Fred with a nod. “I will gladly add things if my creativity doesn’t get spoiled by the lady. She didn’t like it when I told her the comment…..and dragged me to her office.” She chuckled for a few seconds before speaking again.
“Did you see all of these cats? It’s wicked!...she didn’t like that comment either and gave me a detention. Ah well…” She said with a shrug. Not as if the lady was intimidating her in any ways. On the other hand, the lady would be intimidated by her by the little Chrismtas ‘gift’ she was going to give to Hogwarts, specially to Fred Weasley.

Fred wondered what 'the comment, and 'that comment' were. He didn't recall any comment she had made. Then again, you didn't have to say much to get punished. Lee got a detention for reading a magazine. That thing sure was a lot more interesting than reading the book without practcing spells. Good thign they had the DA. Fred realized Fay was not part of it. He wondered if the girl would like to join. "If you want real defense against the dark arts class, I know how to make it possible," he said but before he could add anything about it, Binns came back and ordered fred to go back at hsi seat, handing the boy an edition of the history book. Fred sighed, made a funny face to fay while Binns was not watching and returned to his seat. This detention was funnier than he expected and all he could think about as he wrote down the chapter was what they talked about and Fay's idea, wondering what it might be.

Fay looked at curiously Fred curiously as he talked about real defense. Oh? What would that be? She’d have to ask him some time. She was about to ask but Binns came back in, having the brand ‘new’ book for Fred so he could finish his detention. She quickly returned her hand to her quill that was doing the job since a while now. She quickly also flipped a few pages realizing the quill was way ahead than what she was before speaking to Fred.
When he returned to his seat, she smirked and made sure that Binns wasn’t looking at them. She used her wand and quickly casted the spell on Fred’s quill so it would now be writing on it’s own. “Christmas gift.” She mouthed at him silently, though it was a joke too since her real gift was to come sooner than possible. She quickly returned to her song writing, wanting to make it the best as possible.
